Lucky was founded by Ryan O’Hara Theisen and Jonathan Rosen. Both are former international award-winning advertising creatives, who for the last 10 years, have worked all over the world (NY, London, Sydney, Amsterdam, North Carolina, LA, and SF) at top creative shops. After meeting at The NYU Film Program they both knew that film direction was in their blood and soon thereafter, Lucky was born. By keeping staff to a minimum and using an extensive network of world-class contractors specifically chosen for each project, Lucky can stay agile and adapt to the specific needs of our clients, while keeping costs down.

Lucky is a hybrid - half agency/half production company. Its nimble design positions itself at the center of the converging worlds of ideas, production, and new media. The New York based company writes, produces and directs viral films and branded content. This new medium combined with our unique business model is designed to keep us ahead of the curve and keep costs low especially during a down economy.
