  • The Project: The Nike+ Human Race was created to inspire the Nike+ running community to invite new runners to the sport and to unite the world in the weeks leading up to the Beijing Olympics. Nike took on the task of empowering, equipping, training and connecting over 1 million runners to run on the same day together (both physically and virtually). In the process participants challenged and inspired one another to raise hundreds of thousands of dollars for needing charities.
  • Results: On race day, the Nike+ Human Race set a record and brought together over 800,000 runners from 142 countries raised thousands of dollars for needy charities.
